Joel Friant is a successful entrepreneur who uses his experience to help home-based business owners achieve success of their own. He has also developed a number of products.
Joel initially worked as a real estate agent, remodeling homes in his spare time. In 1995 Joel decided to leave real estate and to instead open a restaurant. His first restaurant was a Thai fast food restaurant – the first in the country.
While he was running this Thai restaurant, Joel was introduced to the habanero pepper. The smoky and intricate flavors of the habanero inspired Joel to market it in a new and more easily accessible form, and thus the Original Habanero Shaker was born.
The Original Habanero Shaker was a quick success and was picked up and stocked by many major grocery chains in the Washington State area.
Joel designed the Original Habanero Shaker to feature custom flakes of quality dried habaneros. In its original form, a habanero pepper is much hotter than a jalapeno, but Joel managed to maintain the unique flavor of the habanero while making it enjoyable to eat. The Original Habanero Shaker still remains a popular addition to any kitchen to this day.
The success of the Original Habanero Shaker inspired Joel to return to the real estate business. He also began buying foreclosed homes, remodeling them, and selling them. Joel then began learning about real estate mortgages and used his experiences to open a new mortgage lending office.
In 2008, after the financial crisis, Joel became interested in success, more specifically what factors determine who will be successful and who won’t. Joel studied success as if it were a science and developed a concept called The Income Thermostat. Using his research, he began to teach others how to become successful by publishing many articles in respected journals and hosting seminars.
Joel currently studies cryptocurrency and enjoys sharing his experience on the subject with others who wish to be successful in the field.
